I'm sensing a pattern and it isn't a good one

To add to the last post...This is a good friend of mine I went to high school with. We still stay in touch and I see him quite often. Does anyone else find it odd that he is going to jail and people who have killed people don't get as much time?

These are the people in my neighbourhood

This was a very good friend of mine. I just don't even know what to say about this story except that I hope to god none of this is true and he was set up because of his undercover work. I was at his wedding and spent a lot of time with him and his wife in Prince George. An old boyfriend and him were best friends and the four of us were very close. I don't believe the story, but good god still very scary.

In keeping with people I have known for years who have now done something disturbing (not that I think the top story is true)...I have known this guy since about the age of 5. Mike played sports with my brother growing up (my dad coached him until he was in his 20's) and so I essentially grew up with him. This story is undeniably true as he has admitted his crime.

Sometimes life is just so sad.

In other news there was a downpour this morning and it got sunny just as I left the house...it got crappy again as soon as I got to the office. Sometimes I take what I can get ;)

Looking forward to this tonight. I have a feeling I am going to be dropping a lot of cash at this place.

So, this leaves on questions...who wants to drink with me this weekend? Anyone?
