Posting Block

I have been so incredibly busy the last while that there has been no chance to update at all. Work is soooo busy, which is taking up the bulk of my time right now. I can't complain though...I miss being busy and working is taking my mind off of other unpleasant things going on right now. Why does everything have to be so confusing? That's all I am going to say about that.

The past weekend was good and bad. I had goog times on the surface, but underneath I wasn't so good. Friday night we went to YBP for Marky's birthday. It was a good crowd. We were there most of the night and headed to BN at about 1 am. After BN we went to P1's for a glass of wine and I ended up falling asleep on the couch.

I got up in the morning and headed to T's. I picked up some stuff and we had a chat and then I finally drove fun new car. I took it on a little tour and all I can say is "wow". How fun!!! I dropped myself off at home and basically showered and got ready for Saturday night's stag.

Mark and Dale came and picked me up and we went to their place so Dale could get ready and then Mark dropped us off at the stagette starting point. I only knew the bride and Dale, but met some very cool women. After lots of food, some drinks and an exploding penis cake we were off on the limo bus to see the Chippendales. Priceless!!! I am not a fan of the male strippers, but this was pure cheese and actually in the end was pretty entertaining for the whole hour that we were there. Dale and I ended up sneaking out for a smoke and some of the other women came withus. When we got outside the limo was already there so we went and sat on the bus and drank and waited for the others to get out of the show.

From there it was back downtown for BN again. Kind of getting sick of that place...not going to lie. The party was pretty mellow...I didn't drink much and was home in bed by 2.

I was up early on Sunday to go get dad's Father's Day gift and then headed out to see him and the rest of the family. I was having a bad day, which made dad sad and then we had a pretty disasterous lunch/brunch. So not the best dad's day ever for dad. I have to make it up to him some night. I was home by 5 with a whack of boxes to start packing for the big move. I ended up working most of Sunday night.

I had my first big presentation on Monday morning, which ended up going quite well (i think). My boss was impressed atmy confidence. I had to confess to my ability of bullshit. Maybe not something you should tell your boss!! haha.

This week is going to involve me working a lot. I just realized that I have to take off the next two Fridays after the one coming up. The 29th I am moving and I will be in Calgary for Stampede the following Friday. It looks like there will be weekends working in the next while, which if the weather stays this way shouldn't really matter. Seriously...what the hell has happened to our weather. It makes me want to cry.

Shitty update, but I am too busy for more. I will try to post more in the next while.
