So, I had lunch with the Ex yesterday. I love that he chose to take me out the one day I happened to really dress up and look good. Total coincidence too! It s always good to catch up with him, but strange at the same time. It is weird being with someone that you once knew so well and now you are really nothing more than an aquaintance. You know a little of what is going on in their life through the random phone calls and emails, but you don't really know their life like you once did. I can tell he stil doesn't like to talk to me about the girlfriend, which is odd to me, but I guess he thinks it is something that doesn't affect us, so why bother. Anyway, it was all good and we had a good time catching up.
I told him I still want to move downtown and seeing as T is all over the map these days it doesn't look like I will be moving in with him as was the original plan. It just so happens the Ex's place is going to be empty on the next few months and I can move in if I want and the rent is $300 less per month than what I am paying now. His place is pretty nice too. So, that was super exciting news. I am seeing T tonight, so I am going to let him know about this turn of events then. I wonder what he will think or if he will even care. He isn't the type to show concern or get emotional, so it will be interesting. I am assuming at this point he knows that I am not going to be moving in anytime soon unless he cleans up his act, but who knows with men. Sometimes they can be so dense. On that note, he has been a very good boyfriend today...why can't this just come natural to men? I don't get it.
T also went ahead and bought a car this week (think very expensive sports car). I love how he says "we" will have an awesome car for the summer and "you" can drive it whenever. I will see how true this is when it arrives all shiny and pretty from Florida.
I have no plans for the weekend. I am hoping to lay low and just relax. T and I are going to hang out tonight. We will probably be super mellow. Although I am having quite the hankering for some red wine. MMMMMMMM wine!
